| Intelligent TV game show host. Over his extensive career, Ludden most notably hosted several incarnations of Password, The Liar's Club, and The G.E. College Bowl. In 1981, Ludden died of cancer, the same disease which took his first wife. His second wife was actress (and game show celebrity) Betty White.
