A logical fallacy where, instead of a logical argument, the listener is asked to agree because the arguer is pitiful. Since using this is itself pitiful, it can give rise to a Meta-Appeal to Pity.

Example: "I was close, and I only got 1 out of 10 on this assignment anyway. Can I please have the point?"

To prove the use of Appeal to Pity, show that the pitiful state has nothing to do with the truth of the proposition.
