In one episode of "Beavis and Butt-Head", David Van Driessen (the hippie teacher) tells the class that they'll be exploring the world of haiku. "High? Cool!" replies Beavis. Van Driessen corrects him, explaining that haiku is a haunting Japanese form of three line poetry. After explaining the rules, he calls on Butt-Head to create his own haiku for the class. After Van Driessen's prodding, the reluctant Butt-Head comes up with one for the ages...

That was cool, huh huh
when we killed that frog, huh huh
it won't croak again.

Not to be outdone, Beavis has an even more astounding haiku, a master piece of poetry that will be remembered for generations to come...

Huh huh, huh huh huh
huh huh mmm, uh huh huh huh
huh huh, huh huh huh.

For their awe-inspiring efforts, Van Driessen gives them both A's for the day, which prompts a moshing headband from the dynamic duo.
