His home paper is Seattle's The Stranger, which he also edits, but his column gets syndicated in hundreds of alternative weeklies worldwide, including my local one the Georgia Straight (but it came here originally in Terminal City, a vastly superior rag). He has a research assistant named Kevin and until recently encouraged people to preface their letters with the slogan "Hey, faggot!" He periodically writes unrelated feature articles for the Stranger and has a few books out, the latest of which is entitled Skipping Towards Gomorrah.
