Dr. Jim McGuire is a professor of physics at Tulane University. He teaches General Physics and researches Quantum Physics. Aside from being quite intelligent, and contributing to the research of electron corellation, he is genuinely concerned about the academic and professional well-being of his students. Key things about him:

• He assigns relevant homework
• He will actually discuss things at office hours
• He has a very irritating though effective way of challenging you to do your absolute best
• His lectures are informative and comprehensive, and he makes real honest efforts to explain the answers to your questions until you actually understand.

If you are or will be attending this university, I highly recommend his class. Be warned, though, it will be a great deal of work.
