Eggplant wizards are the purple monsters in Kid Icarus that wander around in the fortresses of the three gatekeepers. Basically an anthropomorphized eggplant, it's generally considered the most annoying enemy in the game (more so than the Grim Reaper). Not only do they take several shots to kill, but when Pit gets his by one of the eggplants that it tosses out, he turns into an eggplant, and can't shoot until he gets cured at the fortress hospital.
