Exit Human is (as far as I can tell) a techno band from Little Rock Arkansas. I met one of their members at Dragon Con 2001. Their first CD entitled Arvada is quite good.

The band presents itself as an organization named FERAL (Federation for the Equal Rights for Artificial Life) and claims that Arvada is the name of a highly evolved Artificial Intelligence construct that grew beyond the control of its maker. The website (www.exithuman.com) tells the whole story and it is surprisingly well-thought-out, assuming you enjoy the whole AI thing.

Overall the pretense is kind of silly, but the music is very good. There is a strange evolution that goes on as the CD progresses and the tracks become more intricate and complex. The music is worthwhile, and the story is entertaining.
