A solar system near the edge of the Milky Way galaxy. It is made up of the star Sol, 9 planets and an asteroid belt between the orbits of the 4th and 5th planets. Commonly known as "the solar system". The only known sentient species native to the system is homo sapiens, who live on the continents of the 3rd planet, Terra.
