The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, SCAC, is a NCAA Division III conference. The conference was founded in 1962 as the College Athletic Conference (CAC). Following membership and structure changes during the 1970s and 1980s the conference renamed itself to the SCAC in 1991. It is an all-sports conference and sponsors many sports for men and women.
