The organization at UMass Amherst primarily responsible for representing the interests of the student body to the administration. It is composed of three branches, the Executive, containing the President and his cabinet, the Legislative, comprised of Senators from all over campus, and the Judicial which handles conflicts.

Generally Useless and ineffective bodies of no authority or use to the student body of most colleges and even high schools. Many student government members are padding their resume in hopes of attending good colleges or graduate schools.
