The Burren is also an area in County Clare, Ireland, noted for its stark beauty. The terrain is mostly limestone, and includes such exciting features as clints and grikes, as well as the odd dolmen here and there. The flora and fauna is also supposed to be quite remarkable, but I can't quite remember why.
