The Dalmore is a single malt scotch whisky from the Northern Highland region of Scotland. it is matured in sherry cask usually bottled as a 12 year old expression.

The 12 year old has an aroma of malt and sherry. The flavor is rich with hints of orange, chocolate and licorice. It is more peaty than Speyside malt but less so than whiskies from Islay.

There is also the Dalmore Cigar Malt (no age statement) which is supposed to be formulated to compliment a cigar.
