Water well drillers
drill water wells to provide a
source of water for
living things.
Irrigation wells for irrigating
crops like
corn and
soybeans.
Domestic wells for
houses that are too far from
city water sources.
Livestock wells for
cattle,
pigs,
horses, etc. for livestock that do not have
farm ponds. Many drillers also do well
maintenance on existing wells. Many wells in
Nebraska use the
renewable energy of wind to pump water for the livestock. These renewable energy
pumps are called
windmills.
