Watson is the codename for Outlook 2001 for the Mac. Available for public download, it is still in beta. Unlike Entourage, it is a product that requires the use of an Exchange Server for it's collaboration and mail features. Having much the same look and feel of Mac IE, is themable and quite customizable. Watson is a huge improvement over the previous exchange client offering for the Macintosh, in stability and featureset. While not necessary to use the exchange server under most configurations (IMAP and POP have been available to OE users), this does allow a Macintosh customer to take full advantage of Exchange 2000.
