Lyrics by Jacob8er, music by SIXFINGER

I know a secret deep under the water
hidden in the bottom of an old gunny sack.
I saw a man there, hidden in the shadows
I started running and I never looked back

HEY HEY HEY

All the way past Whiskey hallow
I had succumb to tempation's bite
I found myself back there the following evening
digging up the bag in the pale moonlight

HEY HEY HEY

Oooh, Looked the devil in the eye
Oooh, and I believe I'm gonna die

HEY HEY HEY

What I saw,an image to stir me
her auburn hair, pale skin aglow
a rustle of leaves and he was upon me
the secret is safe now, no one will know

HEY HEY HEY

I wrote this song after too much exposure to the Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds Murder Ballads album. I loved the thought of writing something creepy that would make your skin crawl. The music that accompanies these lyrics is almost a spanish flamenco. Jenny's voice over the swaying rythme of the song is very sweet. Almost sticky.
