White wine should be served chilled to about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The average temperature of a refrigerator is 38 degrees F. This makes the refrigerator a good place to chill your white wine, but a bad place to store it. You should not keep white wine in the refrigerator longer than 48 hours.
