Windsor Heights, Iowa, is a suburb on the west side of Des Moines, IA. It's main thoroughfare, University Ave., had a 30-35 MPH speed limit through most other suburbs. However, in Windsor Heights, the speed limit is 25 MPH. It is heavily patrolled by the Windsor Heights police department, who write copious numbers of speeding tickets along that road.

Because of it's stringent enforcement of a speed limit most people find to be ridiculously low, Windsor Heights has a reputation of being a speed trap. It's nicknames include Windsor Bites and Radar Heights.
