Winnipeg animation

A style of animation pioneered by Richard Condie. Originated in (you guessed it) Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Typified by:

  • Wobbly lines in foreground images (i.e., the characters)
  • Bizarre, intricate background details (you have to look at a scene several times to see it all)
The Big Snit is a good example of this style.
