It all began one sunny afternoon when some of us noticed that someone (or something) calling itself Zifter seemed to be permanently logged on to the Everything Finger, in duplicate. Initially we were quite confused:

• Is Zifter alive?

Then we began to realize the truth:

• The Saga of Zifter
• The Saga of Zifter:r2

Unfortunately, the first assimilation is always the hardest so there was some initial resistance:

• Zifter's first attempt
• Everything Finger has palsy:r5

Eventually, we came to love the little guy and worried what would happen to him when E2 came trundling down the pipes:

• What's gonna happen to Zifter?

Of course, everything eventually worked out for the best (we think):
