clock speed indicator

A really gimmicey feature found on dodgy PC cases. A series of seven segment leds that allegedly displays the machine's clock-speed, but actually display whatever they've been jumpered to1. Often has a passthrough for the turbo switch to further the illusion that it's showing the actual clock speed. It will even count up and down like a pinball machine, even though an actual clock speed changes in under a microsecond.

But hey, it's appearances that matter, right?
