comb honey

This is a genuine farm taste treat. If you don't raise your own bees, or know someone who does, you can find comb honey at a specialty grocery store for a premium price.

Just slice a thin piece of honey-laden comb and lay it on your toast or bagel, or best of all, Iowa cornbread. That's right, you are going to eat the beeswax along with the honey. It's perfectly edible and won't hurt you. In fact, it's kind of tasty and gives the honey a chewy texture. Yummm.
