"illusion is no longer possible because the real is no longer possible." -Jean Baudrillard
creeping surrealism is the realization that we have machines out there designed to simulate the work of human beings in order to make things more natural or homemade or the idea that television reality is better than real reality. Pepperidge Farm cookies that look like they are made by hand, the books written by any famous dogs and the continuing popularity of Julia Roberts movies are classic examples.
