A
basic healing spell in
D&D; under the
3rd Edition rules, it
restores 1
d8 points of
damage plus one additional
point per
caster level, to a
maximum of five "bonus"
points. It can be cast by
druids,
paladins, or even
bards, but
clerics with some tie to
good are the true
masters of this
spell, as they can swap out a
first-level spell they have prepared
in favor of this
if need be. Of course,
clerics with no
tie to good can cast this too, but they have to
prepare it beforehand.
