A drip torch is a device consisting of a small tank connected to a curved spout. the tank is filled with fuel, usually a mixture of diesel and gasoline. these torches are lit from the end and when burning and tipped, they drip burning fuel on the ground. They are important tools used by fire fighters for starting backfires or prescribed burns. The loop on the spout keeps the flames from back-burning into the tank and causing an explosion. And they are pretty damn fun to use
