One who subscribes to the tenets of fASCIIsm.

* fASCIIsts send only plain-text e-mail.
* fASCIIsts use text editors instead of word processors.
* fASCIIsts know that the ASCII text files they create today will 
  still be supported in 20 years.
* fASCIIsts understand the difference between the shape of the letter E 
  and the actual letter E.
* fASCIIsts use the <PRE> tag.
* fASCIIsts do not believe a computer should need any special 
  applications to create or read text files.
