Anybody who has ever been to kindergarten (or elementary school for that matter) knows what these are.

For those who have not: these things are almost always big (about twice as fat as a normal pencil) and red. They never have an eraser (I guess kids never make spelling mistakes). Most kids learn to write with one of these things and a piece of that paper that has the lines that are about 2 inches apart.
