Another modern day light weight strong material made from fibres of
glass, oddly enough, that are incased in a
polymer. It's very strong for it's weight and is now used for a huge variety of
things from
boats,
cars, even
archery recurve bows.
Now considered to be a lo-tech alternative to
carbon fibre.
