mad big-bang device built by the good folks at BNL on Long Island... There is apparently a chance that it may cause "perturbations of the universe" that could result in "strange matter" sucking the earth into a black hole.

Created by crazy physicists at Berkeley with no thought for the future of the Earth. Uses Gold ions travelling very near the speed of light to simulate the beginning of time. Generation of strangelets (amongst other stuff - quite a lot of heat too)which are really odd and nobody understands them. After reading this why not have sex??
