Along the same lines as the lager and lime, this less than fabulous drink consists of a pint of lager with a slug of blackcurrant added in. The blackcurrant is rarely Ribena (the one true blackcurrant drink) but some toothcurlingly sweet generic concentrate instead. It's a pub regular's version of kir royale.
