Those thin
black lines visible on the
image of all
Sony Trinitron picture tubes, caused by the stabilizing wires in the
Aperature grille. It's
funny how
Sony almost designed the
perfect CRT, but couldn't find a way to get past the apparently
difficult task of keeping the aperature grille stabilized without
tainting the
image.
