The triple point is the point where, at a certain temperature and pressure, all three phases (gas, liquid, and solid) of the substance exist in equilibrium.

Logically, the triple point is the point of intersection of the gas/liquid equilibrium line, gas/solid equilibrium line, and liquid/solid equilibrium line.
