My job is to listen to ideas all day. They all come from Other Users. Some of them are good, most of them aren't* and almost all of them are repetitive one way or the other. Emotion doesn't really enter into it so don't worry about offending (or defending) me, just gimme the idea and I'll file it with the others best I can. Wheels within wheels, it's an all volunteer army building this place so please be patient.
*Most ideas fail to take into account the Big Picture. This is understandable as most Other Users, having joined the site relatively recently, simply don't have easy access to the Big Picture. Oh - that and every single person on the site has a slightly different value system and a completely different brain from every other person on the site, so it's tricky that way too.

If your idea is brilliant, or even sensible, I will add it to a long, long, long list of brilliant and sensible ideas that, ideally, we will get to eventually. The New E2 sort of sketches out the direction we'd like to head in, but that's been around for over two years already. We're kicking the tires now for another run at it.

"You know what would be kinda cool, at least for sick individuals like myself? Near the chatterbox maybe, set up a meter or something that updates the current estimated births, deaths, and the overall number of people on the planet generally."
