Home Alone is a movie staring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McAllister an 8-year-old who is forgotten at home when the rest of his family go to France for their Christmas vacation. After an initial adjustment phase Kevin goes through the plot thickens as two burglers (played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) decide to rob all the houses in the neighborhood as their occupants are away for the Holidays. Kevin decides to stop them using various tricks and traps mostly involving toys and home appliances.

This was Culkin's breakthrough film and the one that made him a star. There are Two sequels Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) and Home Alone 3 (1997).
