beautiful agony

Beautiful agony may be an oxymoron but for me, it's the most beautiful expression designating "orgasm". In French, we say "la petite mort" (literally, the "small death"), which was first used by the novelist Georges Bataille.

Linking orgasm and death/agony may not be obvious but there's an explanation: when having an orgasm, time freezes. You don't feel pain, thirst or hunger. All your desires and expectations vanish. A bit like dying, I would guess. The expression is also sometimes used to describe the state right after getting a fix, for a junkie. For a drug user, a hit is an orgasm.

So, about Beautiful Agony. Recently, two people started a website at www.beautifulagony.com. I'm still not sure if this website is pornographic or artistic. At the time of this writing, there are 50 videos, usually 1-2 minutes each, of people (men and women) masturbating and about 4 new clips every week. Big deal, you think. The original idea is that you will not see a single nipple or pubic hair. All the videos are headshots of people having an orgasm. You can't see what they are using or doing, only their facial expressions.

In a very strange way, I've found those videos to be much, way much more exciting than any other porn video I have ever seen. Most of the "models" look directly at the camera - into your eyes. You hear them moaning and sometimes crying, shouting or sobbing. It is all intensely erotic.

To watch all the clips at www.beautifulagony.com, you'll have to spit $15.00 USD or pay $10.00 USD monthly. But there are a few free preview clips available to everyone. You could also film yourself, send them the video and get paid - I think you'll also have free access to the site.

Strange website, weird idea. Nothing is more beautiful than looking in your lover's eyes while he/she has an orgasm. This website tries to give you that feeling again.
