The large vein that attaches to the top of your heart, provides input of blood.

One of the two largest veins in the body, the other being the inferior vena cava. Formed by the union of the two innominate veins, it drains the superior part of the body into the right atrium of the heart.

The pulmonary veins carry the same volume of blood as the SVC and IVC but there are four of them.
