In the human anatomy, sutural bones are small, flat, oddly shaped bones found between the flat bones of the skull in the suture line. The numbers and shapes of these bones vary from individual to individual. The borders are likened to puzzle pieces and the sizes vary from a grain of sand to a quarter. They are also known as 'wormian' bones.

Also known as Wormian bones.
Some people have them, some people don't.

The way one bone connects onto another bone is known as articulation.
