1963 film showing the nine hours before
Mahatma Gandhi's
death as seen through the eyes of his
assassin. In order
to get the
anti-violent followers to flip to violence,
an
agitator was on the scene, ready to finger the assassin.
It was a very cool scene:
after the bullet, the agitator
starts pointing and shouting, "
It's him! Get him! He
did it!"
Instead of responding with confusion and violence,
Gandhi's followers fell into silence and prostrated
themselves, leaving only the assassin and the agitator
standing.
