The worst of
Apple's six
iServices, which were introduced in
January 2000. The
reviews are written by some mysterious Apple
employees, and they are ranked by the Apple review, not the
reader review
average, which is often
much lower or higher.
Also, although there is a provision for readers to submit suggestions for reviews, they tend to go mostly unused, and when they are, it takes several months for a review to be published. For example, there were dozens of submissions for Low End Mac, but it was four months before the Low End Mac review was published.
iReview underwent a much-needed overhaul in May 2000, and I'd give it a 2 out of 5 rating.
