Air Liquide released Neue Frankfurter Elektronik Schule, their first record in 1992. Intially released as a limited 600 copies, the record gained a good response and was later repressed. The duo Cem Oral and Ingmar Koch (Jammin Unit and Walker who also record under numerous aliases) took the name Air Liquide from a German liquid oxygen company. Recording for Blue Records in the early stages of their musical career, they were soon picked up by Casper Pound's Rising High Records in the UK and later Harvest, where they are still signed today. Although Air Liquide have had success musically, they still manage to remain undeground and experimental in their recordings.
