Ante meridiem

The twelve hours before the sun passes over the local meridian are denoted with the abbreviation AM, short for ante meridiem.

Morning, or late night.

There is a 25% chance I will be awake during any given AM hour.

Nice things about morning:

• Most annoying people are still asleep
• Inhaling the rich aroma of freshly brewed hazelnut coffee while sinking one's teeth through the crispy outside to the chewy inside of a toasted, buttered cinnamon-raisin bagel
• Puffing frosty plumes of air while jogging
• Wake-up sex
