Beltane is often thought of as "the
carefree Sabbat," and so many foods with simplistic, light symbolism are eaten. One of those is for
good luck. In
China, eating
noodles is a good luck
charm, and the
Greeks combined noodles with
goat cheeses to make this nice late spring/early summer dish, perfect for the hearty appetites worked up under the hot sun.
Ingredients:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375ยบ F. Mix together all the ingredients until smooth. (No instructions are given in the original recipe on how to do this, but I suggest definitely dissolving the cornstarch in the milk and mixing the macaroni in last.) Place the macaroni evenly in a 9 x 13 greased pan (use glass please!). Bake for 40 minutes until the top is browned.
