A well known specimen of Loch Ness Monster living in the Loch Ness. First modern sighting of Nessie was in October 1871, but it was supposedly seen in Loch Ness as early as the 6th century AD.
Grainy, low-quality pictures and personal reports suggest that Nessie looks somewhat like a dinosaur, with a long neck and a back that resembles a boat floating upside down.
