Nornagest, from the
Scandinavian
prose "
Nornagestsaga" or "
Nornageststhattr", was an old man who relates the story of
Sigurd and
Gunnar (the
Norse forms of
Siegfried and
Gunther), to King
Olaf Tryggvason.
Also a minor character in Poul Anderson's The Boat of a Million Years.
