Oceania is a term used to describe Australia and the Pacific islands.

It is also the fictional nation that serves as the setting for George Orwell's 1984. Oceania was ruled by the totalitarian Ingsoc party. "Oceania comprises the Americas, the Atlantic islands including the British Isles, Australasia, and the southern portion of Africa" (153).

It's really difficult to tell where the Pacific Ocean leaves off, and so I had to make some arbitrary choices. Thus, The Phillipines, Melanesia, Polynesia, Micronesia, and New Zealand can all be found under Pacific Ocean Islands.
