This is a very simple and fast recipe that will please everybody. I've made it for my boyfriend many times and he always gets excited when I tell him we're having spaghetti pie for dinner. I have always made a vegetarian version, but you're welcome to improvise with your choice of carnivorous ingredients. You can use any type of vegetable you prefer, but here's a basic guide of how to make the dish.
- Ingredients:
- 8 oz. of spaghetti
- 4oz. of mozarella cheese
- 1 10 oz. package of frozen spinach
- 3 eggs
- healthy dash of garlic salt
- healthy dash of coriander
- dash of pepper
- Directions:
- Cook the spaghetti until done.
- Place spaghetti and all ingredients in a round medium sized casserole dish.
- Mix well.
- Sprinkle the top with any remaining cheese.
- Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese on top is a golden brown.
- Tips:
- This dish tastes great with spinach flavored pasta noodles.
- I've also used a can of diced tomatoes in the dish, which is also great.
- Sliced fresh mushrooms compliment the dish well when using spinach.
- Egg whites work too if you prefer to use them.
I hope everyone enjoys the dish!
