A 70's
disaster movie starring
Michael Caine,
Henry Fonda and an all-star cast who would prefer to remain nameless. Created by "Master of Disaster"
Irwin Allen.
The film followed the desperate efforts of the establishment to curtail the ravages of a swarm of killer bees. The bees have an impressive run, taking out a train, a schoolyard full of kids, a military base, and a nuclear power plant before being lured out to sea and burned by an ignited oil slick. The moral of the film seemed to be, "When faced with a swarm of killer bees, don't routinely dismiss the only person who knows squat about killer bees."
