Vector Day is a holiday that was created by my
physics teacher, at least I think. It is celebrated on
February 14, also known as the
feast of St. Valentine,
Valentine's Day.
The story is that people are wrong.
Cupid doesn't shoot arrows that make people fall in love.
Cupid shoots vectors that make people fall in love with
physics. For those of you who don't know about physics, a
vector is an arrow drawn to represent the direction of things.
On Vector Day, the students make
movies, bake food, design t-shirts, or do anything that can have physics on it for bonus points. The movies are the best part. My friends and I did a spoof of
James Bond last year. This year it'll be
The Matrix.
