Wigmore is a modern
English cheese created by
Anne Wigmore, in the
Berkshire region.
It is semi-soft, and made of sheep's milk, and is vegetarian. The fat content is 45%. The spectacular flavour of Wigmore is of burnt caramel (typical of ewe's cheeses) , florals, macadamia nuts, and roast lamb. It has won many gold medals at the British Cheese Awards.
