Airheads are a chewy taffylike candy made by perfetti van melle candy company. They're softer and less sticky than saltwater taffy or laffy taffy but firmer than starburst. They are packaged in long, flat strips instead of "chews" like most candies of this sort. The standard flavors of Airheads are cherry, watermelon, green apple, strawberry, blue raspberry, orange, and a "secret" flavor called white mystery. Each candy is colored according to flavor (watermellon is green, not red), except white mystery, which is logically pure white. Airheads are occasionally available in different flavors for limited times. Currently (as of 7-12-2002) Lilo and Stitch "Hawaiian" flavors are their special items, packaged complete with movie tattoes. Airheads are very tasty but if too many are eaten at once, a sticky, oily residue is left in your mouth
