Novasoy is a product of the Archer Daniels Midland company. It is a soybean derived powder rich in isoflavones sold to vitamin and dietary supplement manufacturers, which then display the Novasoy logo. Isoflavones are plant based estrogens that are believed to benefit health in a number of ways, including:
- healthy bones
- healthy cholesterol levels
- good cardiovascular health
- good health during and after menopause
For these reasons, Novasoy is particularly marketed toward women.
Novasoy contain 40% isoflavones and 60% other naturally occuring soy proteins.
